HRCH Dry Pond's Hydro Snake Eyes Sadie MH (2 Master National Passes)
Sadie is the perfect combination of her parents, Jenna and Hydro. She has the rich chocolate coat of her Mom and the bigger athletic build of her Father. She has been easy to train, is compliant and eager to please. She runs excellent marks and blinds. Sadie is perfect from the truck to the line, in the field, back to the line and to the truck. She is level headed from A to Z. Like her Mother she loves the water and goes swimming any chance she can. Sadie is very affectionate, great house dog and family member.
In January 2014 Sadie started the gun dog training program with Colby Williams, owner and operator of Top Line Retrievers, located in Hodges, SC. She accelerated through the 4 month program in only 3 months and continued with training through out the summer of 2014. Sadie earned her first HRC Seasoned Pass in August 2014 with Colby as her handler and finished up the other three passes in October 2014 with Beth Johnes as her handler. We are very proud that she received her title of Hunting Retriever (HR) (passed 4 of 5) title within 10 months of training. Sadie continued her training in January 2015 and started competing in AKC Senior Hunt Tests the first week of February. She received 5 for 5 passes on March 15th, 2015 earning her Senior Hunter title. Sadie took the fall of 2015 off to have her first litter of puppies. She returned to training in January 2016 and earned her AKC MH title in May 2016 and qualified and passed her 1st Master National's in the fall of 2016. In 2017 Sadie whelped a litter of 12 puppies, earned her HRCH title, qualified for Master National's and passed the 2nd year in a row. In 2018 Sadie will run in AKC field trial and SRS events. In the spring of 2018 Sadie debuted at her first Super Retriever Series (SRS) test and placed 2nd out of 45 dogs. This qualifies her for the Super Retrievers Series Crown Championship in the fall of 2018. According to research she is the first female chocolate lab to qualify for the Crown.
