Raising Healthy Puppies........Starts With Having Healthy Parents!

Our girls and boys have routine annual check-ups and pre-breeding check-ups to ensure they are in perfect health to have a litter of puppies and or breed. Our breedings involve multiple trips to the girls veterinarian.  These include progesterone testing every few days to determine the optimum breeding days and then an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy at about 28-30 post breeding. Mom's return to the vet's immediately after giving birth to ensure she is done delivering puppies. The puppies return to the vets within 2-3 days after being born to have their 1st health check-up and dew claw removal.    Puppies return to vets at 3 and 5 1/2 weeks of age for their first round of shots, deworming and health checkups.
