We have Snuggle Puppies available for all new puppy buyers. They normally sell for $40, but we have them priced at $35.00. Please let us know if you would like to have one ready for when you pick your puppy up.

Blanket Swap: I have purchased a supply of fleece blankets available from Walmart, Dollar General and some grocery store’s for under $5.00. If you would like to swap a blanket, please let me know. I will make sure I have a blanket ready for you that has good momma smells on them. This helps with the transition for the puppy when they go to their new homes.

VET APPOINTMENT: Go ahead and schedule your Vet appointment now for his/her wellness within 1 week of picking up the puppy. Booster shots may be needed during this visit, but you will be advised of that at puppy pickup. As stated in puppy agreement, puppies are required to be seen by your Vet within 1 week after leaving here. This is just an exam to protect you the buyer and me the seller.

MICROCHIP: Your puppy will be microchipped and at puppy pick you I will have my laptop ready with your puppies microchip to be registered. It is $19.50 for a lifetime registration so please bring a form of payment - debit/credit card. By registering with AKC reunite you are ensuring that if your pet is lost and found that they will also get in touch with me if they cannot contact you directly.

ELEVATED BEDS: We recommend Kuranda Beds. We have tried many other brands and have eventually thrown them out. We just ordered new beds for the new year.

CRATE: Metal crate 36" or 48” long. They come with divider panels, so the size can be adjusted as he/she grows. Some crates have two door, but you can also find ones with a single door. It all is your preference and also how you plan to place your crate in your home. Bring a small crate for transporting in vehicle day of pick up large enough to fit 15 lb-25 lb puppy. COLLAR: Your puppy will need a small - medium sized collar when you pick him/her up. Some brands run large, but they will grow into it quickly.
LEASH: Many options are available and I suggest you have a few on hand to keep in your car at the front door, etc.

PLACES TO STAY: We recommend the Holiday Inn Express - North Augusta, SC to stay while you attend an open house and or for picking up your puppy. The hotel has plenty of restaurant options in close proximity. Our kennel is about 35 minutes from this hotel. If you are coming from the Columbia, SC area and think you want to stay in the Aiken area right off of the interstate we recommend you drive the extra distance to North Augusta Holiday Inn Express hotel. The hotels are not as nice (old) and may not appear to be as safe as the one I have recommended.

Another option is Gun Dog Express. They travel as far as Denver, CO and have a monthly travel route. Puppy needs to be at least 8 weeks of age to travel and a vet check and health certificate is required for travel. To get on the schedule we need to notify them a few days before the 1st of the month to get on the schedule.
Flying: If you need your puppy shipped, please be advised that we do not ship puppies as cargo on flights. Many people fly here and return with their puppy and traveling with their puppy as a carry on. Flight Nannies are also available, but typically need to be arranged in advance.

DOG BOARDING: We offer dog boarding services to our clients. If you are ever in need of this service, just let us know. We have people that drive up to 3 hours to bring their pups back to us. Our rate is $30.00/night and all you need to bring is his/her food and bedding. Proof of vaccines and kennel cough vaccination is required.
